How does entity-based pricing work?
You pay per entity, per month. Business is $59 for your first entity and $39 for each additional one; Premium is $99 and $89. Each entity carries its own tier, capacity, and feature set, and you can mix Business and Premium entities in one workspace. A paid workspace cannot contain a Free entity.
How do seats work across entities?
Business includes 5 seats per entity and Premium includes 7. Those seats pool across your workspace, and each person is counted once at their highest entity tier. Extra seats are billed at that tier — $12/seat/mo on Business and $17/seat/mo on Premium. Entity memberships give access; they never create a second seat charge for the same person.
What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 1 business entity, 2 team members, 512 MB of storage, task management with Kanban/List/Calendar views, request workflows, the passwordless client portal, SLA deadline tracking, and CSV import/export. It's a fully functional plan — not a trial.
Do consultants really collaborate for free?
Yes. On Business and Premium, your external consultants — accountants, lawyers, advisors — access your entities for free through the consultant portal. They get role-based access and never count toward seat billing. This is unique to Vulu Vault.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing is 10× the monthly price — two months free. That makes Business $590 for the first entity per year ($390 each additional) and Premium $990 for the first entity per year ($890 each additional). It is billed up front. Existing subscriptions keep their current pricing for 12 months.
What happens when an entity needs more storage?
Business and Premium entities can add storage packs: 10 GB for $2/month ($20/year), 50 GB for $5/month ($50/year), 250 GB for $20/month ($200/year), or 1 TB for $70/month ($700/year). Each pack attaches to one entity and storage never pools across entities.
Can I change entity tiers or add entities anytime?
Yes. You can add Business or Premium entities at any time, and each new entity is billed from the day it is added. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Changing an entity's tier changes its capacity and its price.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — Business and Premium include a 14-day free trial with full access to the features of the tier you choose. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, choose a plan or your workspace converts to Free.
Is Enterprise available?
Enterprise is sales-assisted and coming soon. It adds custom entity and seat volumes, white-label portal, advanced RBAC, SCIM provisioning, custom retention, and dedicated support. Contact sales to discuss requirements.
